The Queen
The first time he met the Griffin Queen she was watching some older girls walk away with her lunch money. She must have sensed his gaze, because she turned and laid her liquid amber eyes upon him, and she smiled. Her expression was soft and a little sad, but her smile held within it the hope of tomorrow.
